- 1 kg carrots
- 1 garlic clove, pressed
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar (in case carrots are not sweet enough)
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder (or more if you like it too hot)
- 1 tsp. ground coriander
- 3 tablespoons vinegar
- 3 tablespoons flavorless oil (olive, sunflower etc.)
It is better to make the carrots ahead of time, so that the carrots would be more flavoury.
All you need is to peel carrots, and cut them in thin strips (you can use a special grater).
Season the carrots with salt, sugar and ground coriander. Massage and knead the carrots to fasten the process of releasing the juice. Pour the vinegar and oil on the carrots, add chili powder and pressed gralic. Mix well. Cool before serving.
