The healthiest cheese


A lot of research show that feta is the healthiest cheese. This popular cheese which is also known as traditional Greek cheese is made with sheep’s and/or goat’s milk. Feta is a white soft and very nutritious cheese which is rich in calcium, phosphorus, B vitamins etc. All those vitamins and minerals support healthy teeth and bones, metabolic and immune systems.  Its creamy texture matches different types of dishes: from salads to desserts. Very true feta cheese may be found in several regions of Greece, and it must be made with sheep’s milk (minimum 70%) according to traditional methods and technologies. 

It is high in sodium and people having kidney problems may soak it in water before consuming to decrease sodium level.
